DF Mayuge District Candidates Hold Strategic Meeting

In the Eastern region-based Mayuge district, aspirants under the Democratic Front (DF) banner convened a crucial strategy meeting which brought together a diverse group of party’s candidates.

Spearheaded by Ashraf Mugalula, an aspirant for the Bunya West Parliamentary seat, the meeting aimed to create a unified approach to secure victories at different levels for the relatively new party considering that its inaugural competition with others in the country’s electoral landscape which is the 2026 general elections is on the horizon.

Central to the discussions was the need for effective voter mobilization strategies, and candidates explored innovative ways to communicate the Democratic Front’s manifesto, and resonate with the communities.

Understanding the importance of grassroots engagement, they recognized that building trust, and establishing genuine connections with voters would be essential for garnering support for themselves, and the party at large.
